Magnet Student information:
The acceptance confirmation as a magnet student is also an agreement that parents will:
- provide a minimum of 18 involvement hours to the magnet school program (families with students
- attending different magnet schools must equally split the involvement time served at each school)
- attend at least two parent/teacher conferences per year
- make sure their child has a minimal number of unexcused absences and unexcused tardies
- make sure their child follows the Code of Acceptable Behavior & Discipline policy as stated by the
- Hamilton County Department of Education
*Families who do not complete their minimum involvement requirement will lose the student placement
at the magnet school being attended.
