- November 12, 2011 is our second annual "International Fall Festival" and we need volunteers (checkout our PTA page & IFF page to contact anyone on the PTA board) for next year.
- Adopt a classroom by clicking here for ideas/tips
- Chaperone Field Studies/Field Trips (Must be scheduled in advance with the teacher)
- Library BOOK FAIRS-November 7-12, 2011 (see Mrs. McCarter or more information)
- READ ACROSS AMERICA during the week of March 2, 2012--Volunteers to be a "Guest Readers" are needed and we even need volunteers to setup/clean/maintain all day (see Mrs. McCarter)
- Saturday Work Days (two times per month October-February)
- Community Events--we may need you to help setup and run a booth

Volunteers needed daily during the school day...
If you choose to commit daily, then contact the school or to sign up for a specific day or week that you will be able to volunteer--we will count on you!
Things we need...
- Teacher's Assistant for your child's teacher(s)-- email or call your child's teacher(s) if you are interesting in committing on a regular basis.
- At home volunteer work is rare, but it never hurts to ask anyone.
- Commit to "ADOPT A SPOT" to decorate, clean, and maintain. Here are just a few spots that need attention on a weekly/monthly basis: Library Conference Room, Hallways, Computer Lab, Teacher Mailbox Room, Baccalaureate Park, Faculty and/or Student Restrooms, 3 of the teacher workrooms.
- Sign up to volunteer in the cafeteria daily from 7:25am-9:00am or 10:40am-12:30pm.
- Sign up to setup, distribute, and clean on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for our Fresh Fruits, and Veggies served for snacks each afternoon (11-1:45pm give or take)
- Sign up for our Library Volunteer Program by clicking here or contacting Mrs. McCarter, the BIA Librarian. Here is the basic "TO DO" list that hangs near the librarian's office door so that you have an idea of what needs to be done.
- Daily distribution to Newspapers to classrooms (we need you from 7:50-8:30am or until you finish)
- Work in the main office assisting Mrs. Rose or Ms. Donna *Scheduled in advance a day and time to help us to prepare for your arrival.
